It's like her eyes were asking, can we hang out for a while?
But I would never hit on someone while they were at work

I walk where I work, and I work on this street
And I hate that the concrete is melting my feet

The bus girl had a pamphlet for me, it said

I told my bus friend
About the pastry shop

She asked the bus girl

Glaring at us from the window!

I’ll shorten up my story
They really hit it off
And now they live together in a little walk-up!
The pastry shop has a gay bible study Friday nights
